Herman Wismeyer is the founder and managing director of Focus Project Management. He is an accredited PRINCE2® practitioner with over 20 years of Senior Project Management and Interim Management experience.

Herman has significant experience as a people and interim manager with a series of degrees such as business management and psychology that enables him to understand the needs of your organisation in a short time frame. Speed, objectivity, accountability and commitment are the key values for Focus Project Management.
Herman was born and bred in Hawke’s Bay, has lived and worked overseas for 20 years before returning back to NZ in 2004.
In Europe Herman managed multi-million Euro projects mainly in the Public Transport (Rail) industry and has restructured a number of departments.
In New Zealand Herman has managed Road and Rail projects as well as walkway upgrades for the Department of Conservation. Between 2011 and 2015 he was based in Christchurch delivering Earthquake recovery and re-build projects to a large range of clients. In Christchurch Herman has worked on heritage buildings, education portfolios, commercial developments, churches and residential projects. He has managed projects in excess of $50m.
